Good Sir Tea Company is the brainchild of two best friends turned business partners. Kyle Mengwasser and Blake Nitko formed Good Sir Tea Company in the Summer of 2020, the result of their passion for the healing and soothing powers of Camellia Sinensis (tea leaf) and other various natural ingredients. Committed to bringing the best quality, finely sourced ingredients to our customers, we hope you have a bloody good time with Good Sir!
Ensuring that you have your perfect cup of tea requires attention and care. Tea flavor is greatly influenced by temperatures and steeping times.
Loose-leaf tea is less processed and handled than bagged tea. Our ingredients are sometimes “whole,” such as full flower buds, delicate tea leaves, etc… Keeping our tea less processed allows us to retain the beauty of the natural ingredients. We are also able to cut down on waste in this manner, eliminating the need for disposable tea bags. We recommend a reusable tea steeper, some styles of which we have in our store: Tea Steepers
Our ingredients come from across the globe! While we are not able to offer a detailed list of the origin of each ingredient, we can assure our ingredients are ethically sourced, kosher, and organic (unless noted otherwise in some blends.)
If you have any questions about specific ingredients, we’re more than happy to answer! Email us at email@example.com.
At this time, we do not. We hope to someday! We are online-order only, with the exception of some community events.
We ensure that our ingredients are ethically sourced and organically grown (unless noted otherwise.) We are a small, budding company and are not able to reasonably acquire the credentials needed to display various “badges” on our products. However, we can guarantee that the establishments we acquire our ingredients from have very hefty sustainability policies, aligning with ours.
We aim to reduce waste in our packaging. Our teas are stored in reusable tins, and our packaging is made out of recycled material, when possible.
